Thomas Weber Wins Lou Groza Award

Redshirt freshman named top placekicker in college football

ORLANDO, Fla. - Arizona State University football student-athlete Thomas Weber was named the winner of the 2007 Lou Groza Award, given to the nation's top kicker. He won the award at the ESPN College Awards show in Orlando.

Weber, a redshirt freshman from Downey, California, was 22-23 on field goals during the regular season for the Co-Pac-10 Champs.

Weber is the first Sun Devil to ever win the Groza Award.
