More Than 20,000 Tickets Ordered For 2008 Rose Bowl

Just one day remains for I FUND donors and season ticket holders

Dec. 6, 2007

The University of Illinois Athletic Ticket Office is estimating that just under 5,000 tickets remain out of the school's allotment for the 2008 Rose Bowl game vs. Southern California Jan. 1. For the past four days, the ticket office has accepted orders from I FUND members and season ticket holders. Both groups have just one day left to get their orders to the ticket office before the remainder go on sale to the general public.

Beginning Tuesday, Dec. 11, any tickets not requested by I FUND members and season ticket holders will go on sale for general public purchase. Those wishing to place orders at that time may contact the ticket office at 1-866-ILLINI-1, log on to fightingillini.com or visit the North Box Office of the Assembly Hall.

The school saw 12,000 requests in the first day and an average of 2,000 each day since then.

There should be plenty of Orange in the stands when Illinois battles Southern California in the 2008 Rose Bowl.
