Bruce Davis and Trey Brown Earn All-America Honors

Walter Camp Foundation names both Bruins to second team

UCLA seniors Bruce Davis and Trey Brown have been named second-team All-Americans by the Walter Camp Football Foundation, it was announced this evening.

Davis, a defensive end, leads the Bruins with 9.5 quarterback sacks, ranking 18th (tied) in the NCAA and third (tied) in the Pac-10. Over the last two seasons (25 games), he has made 22.0 sacks, including 12.5 as a junior. On the year, he has made 38 tackles, including 12.0 for losses.

Brown, a cornerback, leads the nations in passes defensed (23 in 12 games). He also leads UCLA and is tied for second in the Pac-10 with five interceptions in 12 games. On the year, he ranks sixth on the squad with 57 tackles.
