NATCHITOCHES, La. - SFA SQUARES OFF AGAINST NORTHWESTERN STATE IN SEASON FINALE: The Stephen F. Austin Lumberjack football team enters the 2008 regular-season finale against Northwestern State with a 4-7 (.571) overall record and a 2-4 (.333) Southland Conference record. The Lumberjacks enter the annual "Battle for Chief Caddo" only a game back of the Demons (6-5/3-3) in the Southland Conference standings. The Demons are coming off a 24-17 loss to No. 17 McNeese State in Natchitoches, La.

SFA vs. THE DEMONS: The Lumberjacks trail the all-time series to Northwestern State, 41-20-3 (.664), and have lost three of the last four meetings in the series. The lone victory during that stretch was a 20-11 decision during the 2006 season, which was the last time the Demons traveled to Nacogdoches. SFA is 6-13 (.316) against Northwestern State in Nacogdoches dating back to the 1970 season. The Demons recorded a 21-12 victory over SFA in Natchitoches, La., last season.

CHASING MORE RECORDS: Sophomore quarterback Jeremy Moses' personal assault on the SFA, SLC and NCAA record books continues as the Lumberjacks enter the final game of the 2008 season. Moses has 40 touchdown passes on the season, setting a new Southland Conference single season record, and eight eight behind the school record. Moses needs only four more completions, and 23 attempts to become the conference's all-time leader in those two categories.

MONSTER NUMBERS: Sophomore quarterback Jeremy Moses has put up some unbelievable numbers during his short time on campus. The Baytown sophomore has recorded 10 300-yard passing games, three 400-yard games, and a 500-yard game. Moses also has nine three-touchdown efforts, seven four-touchdown performances, three five-TD games and a career-high six-touchdown performance against Langston earlier this year.
