A.J. Hawk, senior linebacker
On the environment at Michigan
"People need to realize how tough it is to go into Michigan and win. It is a great stadium and they have great fans. Once you get down it is hard to come back, but our last game at Michigan was a learning experience for us."
On the rivalry
"It is a very special rivalry between both teams. Everyone looks at this game regardless of our record. Michigan is playing with a lot of confidence this year. They have been a very physical team since playing Penn State."
Nate Salley, senior free safety
On the game
"This is going to be a huge game for us, especially the seniors. It means the difference between going 2-2 or 3-1 in our four years. It also means a chance for the Big Ten title."
Rob Sims, senior offensive guard
On losing to Michigan in the 2003 season
"I think it has haunted the seniors, but is also makes us want to play harder at the same time. Michigan is a great team again this year. They have hit a few bumps down the road, but they are very physical and have battled back."
On the offense
"We have to make sure our offense is playing its best. We need to be confident about running the ball. We need to know that we can't take off any plays. We need to be consistent."
Anthony Schlegel, LB
On the game against Michigan
"This is Michigan Week and we know what's at stake. It's amazing I'm here at Ohio State and an honor to play in this game."
On the defense's goals against Michigan
"Our main goal is to stop the run. (Michigan) spreads the ball and tries to exploit whatever you give them. Their running backs run hard and try to get you off-balanced. Michigan is a hard, physical team."

Marcus Green, DT
On the gold pants
"It's the best rivalry. I give (my pants) them to my mom and dad. My dad is so proud of them, more than me I think. He shows them to everyone."
Josh Huston, K
On his attitude during games
"There's always pressure but every time I go out there I feel like I can make the field goals. Coach Tressel says, `great players play great against Michigan' and that's a great challenge."
On his consistency in kick-offs
"Coaches really like that and I think it's overshadowing my field goals."
