GAINESVILLE, Florida (Ticker) -- The career of Florida junior defensive lineman Javier Estopinan continues to be plagued by injuries.

Estopinan suffered his third ACL injury in as many years in Saturday's 42-30 loss to Georgia and will be sidelined for the remainder of the season, according to Florida coach Urban Meyer.

"There is not a tougher or a better guy than he is," Meyer said Monday. "There is no one better than Javier." Despite the rash of injuries, Meyer expects the 6-1, 278-pound Estopinan, a starter, to return next year for his senior season.

"He's coming back," Meyer said. "He's going to be one of our leaders next year." Saturday's defeat dropped the defending national champion Gators to 5-3, including 3-3 in the Southeastern Conference.
