Georgetown-Howard Football Game to Air on MASN Tonight

First of Three Hoya Football Games to be Televised


Georgetown's season-opening football win over Howard in the Inaugural D.C. Cup will be rebroadcast on the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network (MASN) tonight at 11:30 p.m.

Washington, D.C. - Georgetown's season-opening football win over Howard in the Inaugural D.C. Cup will be rebroadcast on the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network (MASN) tonight at 11:30 p.m.

The Hoyas beat Howard, 12-7, on Sunday afternoon at William T. Greene Stadium in the first-ever meeting between the schools. Freshman quarterback James Brady (Melville, N.Y./St. Anthony's) threw a 31-yard touchdown pass to senior slot back Kenny Mitchell (Atlanta, Ga./Westlake) in the fourth quarter to give the Hoyas a 9-7 lead and sophomore kicker Casey Dobyns (Highland, Md./Georgetown Prep) added a field goal to provide the final margin.

The Howard game will be the first of three Georgetown football games to be televised this season on MASN.

Georgetown opens Patriot League play this weekend, visiting Lafayette on Saturday, Sept. 13 for a 6 p.m. kickoff. The game will be rebroadcast on MASN on Tuesday, Sept. 16 two times, first airing at 8 a.m. and then again at 11:30 p.m.

The Hoyas visit Colgate on Saturday, Oct. 4 for a Patriot League matchup scheduled to kickoff at 1 p.m. That game will be rebroadcast that night at 11:30 p.m.
