(CollegeSports.com) -- CSTV has learned that the Florida State at Miami football game scheduled for Monday, September 6th has been postponed. CSTV's Miami Campus Correspondent Adam Aizer, citing sources in the Miami Athletic Department, said that the game would be postponed due to Hurricane Frances. Following a 4:00 p.m. ET conference call between Miami, Florida State and ABC Sports, Miami has announced that the game will be played on September 10th.
The game between the #5 Seminoles and #6 Hurricanes has been one of the most anticipated games of the season, matching the two traditional rivals in their first conference meeting since Miami joined the ACC this summer. The two teams also met in the 2004 Orange Bowl, with Miami claiming a 16-14 win.
In just its first month of existence, CSTV's Campus Correspondent program has created a network of the finest student journalists on campuses across the country. The correspondents are CSTV's eyes on the scene, and have assisted in CSTV's coverage of such events as the arrival of Willie Williams at Miami and the Jeremy Bloom appeal at Colorado.
