LEXINGTON, Kentucky (Ticker) -- Kentucky linebacker Mikhail Mabry broke his thumb during Thursday's practice and will be sidelined indefinitely.
A redshirt sophomore, Mabry jammed his thumb on another player's knee during a routine drill and will undergo surgery Friday.
The 235-pound Mabry was slated to play with the Wildcats'
second-string defense as a middle linebacker. As a true
freshman in 2005, he recorded five tackles in seven games.
