Tulsa's Tracy Named to Lou Groza Award Watch List

The Tulsa senior ranks 10th on the school's all-time scoring list


Senior kicker Jarod Tracy was named to the Lou Groza Award Watch List.

Tulsa, Oklahoma - University of Tulsa senior kicker Jarod Tracy was one of 30 players named to the watch list for the Lou Groza Award. Tracy was one of four Conference USA kickers named to the Lou Groza Award watch list.

Tracy, from Aledo, Texas, played in all 14 games last season and converted 7-of-12 field goals, while connecting on 73-of-76 PATs. His 73 PATs established a new single-season school record. Tracy connected on a season-long 45-yard field goal in an eigh-point victory over BYU.

In 33 career games, Tracy has made 18-of-25 field goals and 124-of-129 PATs while totaling 178 points for 10th place on the school's career field goals made list. As a sophomore, Tracy led Conference USA with a .917 field goal percentage as he made 11-of-12 field goals.

Tulsa opens the 2008 season on Saturday, August 30, against the UAB Blazers in Birmingham, Alabama.
