WEST POINT, N.Y. - Army fans will have more access to audio and video coverage of Black Knight athletic events than ever before this year by virtue of the Army Athletic Association's agreement with College Sports Online. Partnered with Real Networks, College Sports Online offers fans a subscription-based package titled the College Sports Pass. Through College Sports Pass, fans will gain multi-media access to live game audio, live game video, postgame press conference audio, coaches' shows, weekly press conferences, historical game footage, among others. For the first time, fans will have an opportunity to listen to the Army football team's postgame press conference for all home contests. The press conferences include statements from head coach Bobby Ross and several selected players each week. Additionally, the Army Football Tailgate Show, hosted by Director of Broadcasting Rich DeMarco, will also be included in the package for the first time. The Army Football Tailgate Show will originate from "Black Knight Alley" on days of home contests, airing from 11:30-12:30 p.m. It will serve as a fitting-lead-in to the Army Sports Network's pregame radio show on game days. In addition to those exciting new initiatives, the following Army inventory is scheduled for availability via College Sports Pass this season: Live game audio of all football and men's basketball games; live game audio of at least 20 women's basketball games, live game audio of at least 12 hockey games, live audio of Bobby Ross' weekly football radio show (Inside Army Football with Bobby Ross), live audio of Bobby Ross' weekly Tuesday press conferences, live game audio of selected lacrosse and baseball games. Additionally, the Army Sports Network's television broadcasts of the Louisville, TCU, Cincinnati and Air Force football games will also be included in the plan, along with any other "web casts" that might be added throughout the course of the year. All of these events will be archived and available to subscribers on an unlimited basis throughout the season. Subscription plans are now available for purchase on Army's official intercollegiate Web site at www.goARMYsports.com. Fans can purchase monthly ($6.95), yearly subscriptions ($49.95). In addition, plans that provide access to College Sports Online's entire package of audio and video streaming inventory are also available. Limited internet streaming of selected Army events has been available the past two years through the Yahoo.com Web site. That service will no longer be provided as a result of the new agreement with College Sports Online. The first scheduled Army event available on College Sports Pass this season is Ross' weekly Tuesday press conference, Sept. 7, in advance of the Black Knights' season opener versus Louisville. The debut of "Inside Army Football with Bobby Ross," will follow two days later leading up to Army's season opening football game against Louisville on Sept. 11. Online streaming events that day will include audio coverage of the Army Football Tailgate Show, audio coverage of the Army Sports Network's Army vs. Louisville radio broadcast, video coverage of the Army Sports Network's Army vs. Louisville television broadcast and audio coverage of Army's postgame press conference.
