President Ronald Mason speaks to football team about Jackson State University

JACKSON, Miss. - Jackson State’s President Ronald Mason stopped by the Tigers mid-afternoon meeting to introduce himself as well as informing the student-athletes about the outstanding University they have chosen to attend.
“This is a great institution you are attending, Jackson State is ranked in the top 100 for producing African Americans with doctorate degrees and has ranked first for three consecutive years in preparing African-American teachers” President Mason said.
The Jackson State football season will open on Aug. 31 in Orlando, Fl., when the Tigers take on Hampton University in the MEAC/SWAC Challenge.
