Tech fans can travel to see the Bulldogs face Army in October.

RUSTON - The Louisiana Tech Alumni Association is sponsoring a trip to West Point, New York in October for the Bulldogs football game against Army.

According to Ryan Richard, Director of Alumni Relations, all travel and hotel reservations must be made by each individual separately.

A block of rooms have been reserved for Oct. 23-25 at the team hotel, Park Ridge Marriott, with a rate of $99 (plus tax) per night. Reservations can be made by contacting the hotel at 800-882-1038.

Travel costs are also not included. Individuals are advised to fly into Newark (N.J.) International Airport which is approximately 25 miles from the team hotel.

The Alumni Association is charging $175 for person for the trip, which will include a welcome reception at the Park Ridge Marriott Thursday (Oct. 23), a tour of West Point and lunch Friday (Oct. 24) and transportation to and from West Point for the game Saturday. It also includes a pre-game meal on game-day as well as the game ticket.

Reservations are required and a limited number are available. A non-refundable deposit of $75 per person must be submitted at the time of reservation. To register, individuals can go on-line at www.latechalumni.org or call Barbara Swart at 800-738-7950.
