UTEP Coach Price Hospitalized With Blocked Artery

Price is preparing for his fourth year as UTEP coach

EL PASO, Texas (AP) - Texas-El Paso football coach Mike Price had a stent implanted this week after doctors discovered a blocked artery in his heart.

Price had an angioplasty, and was expected to be released from a hospital Friday.

The 61-year-old Price went for routine tests Thursday and a significant blockage was found.

Price is preparing for his fourth year as UTEP coach.
