RENO, Nev. - Nevada's football season opener at Fresno State on Friday, Sept. 1 has been switched from ESPN2 to ESPN, while the game time has been moved up two hours to 5 p.m. Pacific Time. The move will make the broadcast a primetime game on the East Coast.
The 2005 WAC co-champion Wolf Pack will have at least seven games on television this season, starting with ESPN's broadcast of the season opener against the Bulldogs. Nevada will appear on ESPN2 on Friday, Sept. 22 when the team plays host to Northwestern, while ESPN or ESPN2 will carry the team's regular-season finale with Boise State on Nov. 25. ABC will televise the Wolf Pack's Oct. 21 Homecoming game with San Jose State to a regional audience, while flagship station KREN-TV 27 will broadcast three road games locally: Arizona State (Sept. 9), Idaho (Nov. 4) and Louisiana Tech (Nov. 18).
