NEW YORK - CSTV Networks, Inc. (www.cstv.com), the leading multi-media company totally dedicated to college and amateur sports, has named recruiting analyst Tom Lemming editor of college football recruiting.
In his new role at CSTV, Lemming will be an on-air analyst, as well as a regular online contributor for the multi-media company, hosting online chats and posting weekly columns.
Lemming will make his CSTV debut this Sunday, July 10 at 9 p.m. ET on a "Special Edition of Crystal Ball: The Prep Combine," which profiles the realities of high school football recruiting during the annual Elite College Combine, recently held at the Indoor Sports Pavilion in Randolph, New Jersey. The program will showcase nearly 200 of the nation's top high school players, participating in grueling drills in front of coaches from more than 80 Division I football programs. The one-hour special also gives viewers a first inside look at some of the top freshman football prospects for the 2006 college season, including Myron Rolle of Princeton, New Jersey, who many experts consider to be the top player of the 2006 class.
In addition, the special will feature in-depth interviews with two prominent college coaches with new homes in 2005: Florida's Urban Meyer and Charlie Weis of Notre Dame.
Recognized as the country's leading expert on college football recruiting and high school talent, Lemming joins CSTV from ESPN, where he was a recruiting analyst for nearly two decades. Over his decades-long career, Lemming's analyses and rankings of the country's leading high school athletes have been regularly featured in national publications, including USA Today. Lemming tirelessly logs thousands of miles each year to evaluate more than 1,000 of the top high school football players across the country. He is also the editor of Prep Football Report, considered to be the "bible of the recruiting industry", and will be based in Chicago.
"By bringing his unparalleled college sports expertise to our team, Tom strengthens CSTV's commitment to providing fans with the best and most thorough college football coverage and analysis," said Brian Bedol, co-founder and CEO of CSTV. "His insight will add an interesting new dimension to our already innovative coverage of college football."
