Former Rocket Kenny Higgins Named to AFL's All-Rookie Team
Higgins ranked second in league with 15.2 yards per catch

TOLEDO, OH - Former Rocket wide receiver Kenny Higgins has been named to the 2007 AFL All-Rookie Team. Higgins emerged as one of the league's top receiving threats in 2007 and led the Nashville Kats with 95 catches for 1,440 yards and 25 touchdowns.
Higgins' 95 catches were the most in a season by a Kats' rookie and his 1,440 receiving yards were the most ever in a single season by a Nashville receiver. He ranked second in the league with his 15.2 yards per catch average and also set a team record with seven 100-plus yard receiving games.
The Long Beach, CA native began the season on Nashville's practice squad for the first two weeks before exploding with six catches for 98 yards and three touchdowns in his first AFL game in Week 3.
