I'll have a Top 100 ranking in July, but I figured I'd release the names by state of some of the players with potential to crack that group.

The 2008 class is an above average class as a whole after some that were down at certain positions in recent past, most recently offensive line and linebacker last year.

Specifically, the wide receiver corps has never been better.  I've never seen such a deep group in what's now my 29 years doing this.

Michael Floyd beat out some seniors and made my All-American team this past year at the position.

I'll touch on who I see as the top players at their position as it stands right now.

Not only at his position, but No. 1 overall in the country is QB Terrelle Pryor. He's the top athlete in the class and also a top talent in basketball, very similar to Greg Paulus a few years back.  I've been through two-thirds of the country and he is by far the best. He's got the ability, and now it's a matter of figuring out which sport he is going to focus on. He'd like to play both in college, but he'll need to find a program that will accommodate him for that. People will want him to focus on one because he can be so good if he does so.

DB TJ Bryant comes from a school that produces studs at his position, like Antonio Cromartie. When it's all said and done, he could be the best of them to come out of Lincoln (Fla.).

LB Nigel Bradham reminds me of a young Derrick Brooks. He's always around the ball and very productive, grabbing 150-plus tackles this past season.

DL Marcus Forston looks like the toughest, productive, physical interior lineman out there.

TE DeSean Hales looks exceptional with his blocking and receiving skills.

RB Darrell Scott I've only seen on film, which was outstanding, but will see him in person in late May.

As always, for more on the following players you can check out their player cards by using the CSTV.com Generation Next Recruiting Quick Search.
