MOUNT PLEASANT - The Central Michigan University football team invites you to come out for its spring game in Kelly/Shorts Stadium on April 16.

The game will kickoff at noon with an autograph session and a barbeque set to follow. The game and autograph session are free to the public while the barbeque is $6 per person. Those wanting to take part in the barbeque must RSVP before the event to Sherri Hutchins in the football office at (989) 774-3896.

"We want to open up our program to the community so they have an opportunity to see this football team in action," head coach Brian Kelly said. "I think if you get to know this team, you will find they are guys who will represent CMU in a positive light on and off the field. The spring game gives us an opportunity to show everybody what we are about. We will compete hard, you will see great camaraderie among the team and get an opportunity to interact with our players and coaches."
