Owls Open Spring Drills March 12

Feb. 22, 2007

The Rice Owls, coming off a memorable 7-6 campaign that included their first trip to a bowl game in 45 years, will come back from Spring Break (March 3-11) and get back to work with the opening of Spring Practice on Monday, March 12th.

New head coach David Bailiff and his staff will have their first chance to evaluate the returning Owls, as well as begin to install their offensive and defensive schemes. The Owls will practice a total of 14 times over five weeks before concluding drills with the annual Spring Game, which will be held on April 14th at 12:00 noon at Rice Stadium.

Additional activities surrounding Spring Practice will be released shortly.
