Southeast Football Signs 21 Recruits

Cape Girardeau, Mo. - Southeast Missouri State University football coach Tim Billings is excited about the 2005 recruits announced on Wednesday.

"I think we've had a very good recruiting year," Billings said. "We've added players in the positions we needed and we feel good about the overall quality of this recruiting class. We would still like to add some defensive linemen and at least one more linebacker."

The 21 players who have signed national letters of intent are listed below in alphabetical order.

Anthony Anderson RB 6-2 220 Fr. Arlington, Texas (Arlington) All-district, all-city, played in Coca Cola All-Star Game, rated number one running back in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area, MVP at Arlington High School, Star Telegram Top 100 Players in Texas.

*Kevin Ballatore QB 6-2 205 Jr. Valley Ford, Calif. (Santa Rosa JC) All-league, all-empire, team MVP, 2nd nationally in passing with 3,029 yards and 35 TD's, number one in the nation in completions per game.
 

 

Gerald Breedlove DB 6-0 195 Jr. Tulsa, Okla. (NEO A & M) All-state, all-city, all-county, preseason NJCA All-American

William Cowan QB 6-3 190 Fr. Tujunga, Calif. (North Hollywood) All-league, North Hollywood Offensive player of the year, all-city, 4-year honor student, 3-year scholar athlete.
