In its final practice of the season, Ohio State worked out Saturday night at Pinnacle High School in Scottsdale, Ariz., for an hour and a half. The Buckeyes will bus Sunday to University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale for a walk-through.
Former Buckeyes Eddie George and Shawn Springs, among others, were on hand to watch the Buckeyes under the lights.
"We put in about 85-percent of our game-plan before we left Columbus," Jim Tressel said. "Out here we finished putting it all in and made some tweaks. Our preparation has been good and now we're anxious to stop preparing and start playing the game."
The Buckeyes spent time together on the field after Tressel addressed the team after the final practice.
"When we have our last practice of the regular season, it's emotional and you have things like the senior tackle," Tressel said. "But we knew were going to a bowl game and that our season wasn't over, but this is it. I don't think the guys really wanted to talk about that, though. They've spent so much time together and are such a close-knit group."
