Research indicates that the University of Missouri football team's comeback win from a 21-point deficit in the Independence Bowl over South Carolina was indeed the greatest comeback win in Mizzou history.
An extensive listing of comeback wins did not previously exist, but new research shows that the previous best was 14 points, which has happened several times throughout the years.
