Since the fall signing period ended last Wednesday, a couple of surprising decisions shook up our Top 10 recruiting class rankings, as well as throughout the rest of the Top 25.

Florida State gained entrance into the No. 5 spot with the expected decision of No. 28 rated senior Chris Singleton, who chose the Seminoles over Kentucky. The surprise signing of stud JUCO Daniel Payne to Arkansas pushed the Hogs into the Top 10, while Minnesota came close to joining that elite category with the addition of point guard Devoe Joseph for added depth, and into the Top 15 jumps Oklahoma thanks to a surprise decision by No. 12 rated senior Willie Warren. As you'll see below, we've noted the other moves that have been made.

UCLA still has a slight three point overall lead in our point system, finishing just ahead of Louisville, Florida and Kansas.

However, it may be the spring before we know whether the Bruins can hold onto the top spot, because two Top 20 seniors have elected to wait and sign in April.

No. 3 rated Tyreke Evans could boost Louisville, as he will choose among the Cardinals, Memphis, Villanova (his three current leaders), and UConn, Texas and Seton Hall.

No. 11 rated John Riek-Suas could make a decision that alters the rankings as well, but he's also a candidate for the NBA Draft from all reports we've gathered.

In December, we will be doing one more final ranking of the fall classes after the final letters-of-intent have all been received by the conference offices.

At that time we will also factor in some intangible points, like filling team needs, that may move schools up or down a spot in those final fall rankings.
