Charleston, SC - The Citadel basketball team (1-0) will host Washington & Lee (0-2) Tuesday, November 23 at 7:15 pm in McAlister Field House. The match-up between the Bulldogs and Generals will mark the 2004-05 home opener for coach Pat Dennis' squad.

The Bulldogs, who defeated Army 69-62 on November 20 in their 2004-05 season opener, downed Washington & Lee 62-44 in last season's game. The victory gave Pat Dennis his 132nd of his career, which tied him with former Citadel coach and current Athletic Director Les Robinson as the all-time winningest coach in Bulldog history. Dennis went on to break Robinson's record with an 89-72 win against Chowan.

Dennis, who is a 1978 graduate of Washington and Lee, was named the Division III Player of the Year following his senior campaign as a member of the Generals' basketball team. He was also tabbed as a Division III All-American and was later enshrined in to the Washington & Lee Athletic Hall of Fame in 1993.

Following their game against the Generals, the Bulldogs will travel to Washington, D.C. to face the Georgetown Hoyas on Friday, February 26, before returning home for their next four games. The four-game home stand starts with a game versus Chowan on November 29 and includes games against Voorhees, Atlanta Christian and Savannah State.
