VALPARAISO, Ind. (UCFAthletics.com) - When UCF competes against Morehead State as part of the Cancun Challenge on Nov. 30, the contest will be televised live nationally on CBS College Sports. Tipoff from the Moon Palace Resort in Mexico is set for 6 p.m. Eastern.
With the addition of the game from Mexico, the Knights will now have three nationally-televised contests in 2008-09. Home Conference USA games against Memphis (Jan. 10) and Houston (Feb. 4) from the UCF Arena will both be shown on CBS College Sports.
The Knights will play two contests in Mexico. On Nov. 29, the squad will face South Dakota State. The game against the Jackrabbits, along with the Morehead State contest, will be aired on the UCF-ISP Sports Network and 740 AM in Orlando.
The Cancun Challenge features 10 teams and includes eight games played in the United States and 10 games in Mexico. UCF will face host New Mexico this Saturday as part of the event.
Head coach Kirk Speraw's Knights began a stretch of five-consecutive games away from home Tuesday evening, playing at Valparaiso.
