NEW YORK (October 11, 2006) - CSTV Networks, Inc. today announced its 2006-07 college basketball schedule, which features the network's most comprehensive line-up ever with more than 100 men's and women's games on television and in excess of 3,500 games on its network of more than 100 broadband channels dedicated to live college sports.  The television schedule is highlighted by the Pete Newell Challenge, as well as conference tournament games from the Atlantic 10, Conference USA and the Mountain West Conference.  Overall, CSTV will air over 20 C-USA games, 20 MWC games and post-season action including conference tournaments, the NCAA Division II and III Championships and the NAIA Division I and II Championships.   

To get the ball rolling, CSTV will air a special hour long 2006 College Basketball Preview edition of Crystal Ball on Friday, October 13 at 11:00 PM ET, with expert analysis from commentators Pete Gillen and Steve Lappas, features on players such as LSU's Glen "Big Baby" Davis, and a look-in at various teams such as pre-season contender Kansas, as they begin official practices.

CSTV tips-off its men's game coverage on Friday, November 17 as Loyola Marymount hosts New Mexico State, and then for the second consecutive year will air the South Padre Invitational Tournament (South Padre Island, Texas) on Friday, November 24, featuring Wisconsin, Missouri State, Oklahoma State and Auburn.  The Pete Newell Challenge includes Nevada, Cal, Stanford and Bobby Knight's Texas Tech Red Raiders.  Throughout the season, CSTV will showcase many of the top teams from last season including Memphis (four times), Villanova, Boston College, Louisville, California and George Washington among others.   For the second consecutive year, CSTV will broadcast the HoopHall Classic (Springfield, MA) on January 14, featuring the nation's top high school teams and prep superstars.

CSTV will also continue its stellar women's basketball programming with myriad games, highlighted by the Big East Tuesday Night Women's Game Of The Week package showcasing the conference's top teams and rivalries.  Other elite women's teams making appearances on CSTV include Tennessee, Texas, Baylor, Duke, Michigan State and Wisconsin.

CSTV's postseason action includes the Division II Men's and Women's Championships on 3/13, NAIA Men's and Women's Championships on 3/20 and NJCAA Men's and Women's Championships on 3/26 as well as conference tournament action from the MWC and C-USA.
