Columbia, Mo. - Commencement ceremonies were held at the University of Missouri this weekend and an incredible eight current and former members of the Mizzou Basketball program were recognized after completing their undergraduate and graduate school degrees.
Six members of the 2007-08 squad were honored, as Michael Anderson, Jr., Marshall Brown, Darryl Butterfield, DeMarre Carroll, Jason Horton and Vaidotas Volkus completed their undergraduate coursework, as did former Tiger Kalen Grimes. Marcus Watkins, a senior on the 2006-07 team, finished his graduate degree as well this weekend.
While Brown, Butterfield, Horton and Volkus completed their eligibility this season, both Anderson and Carroll were classified as juniors last season and have remaining eligibility for the 2008-09 season.
