LEWISBURG, Pa. -- Don't miss the excitement of the 2005 Patriot League Men's Basketball Tournament, March 4 and 6, at Sojka Pavilion in Lewisburg, Pa.

Under a new postseason format, the top two regular-season finishers will host first and second-round games, with the "mini tournament" winners earning a spot in the Patriot League Championship game on Friday, March 11 at 4:30 p.m. on ESPN2. With its victory at Army on Saturday coupled with Lehigh's loss to Navy, Bucknell clinched a top-two seed and the right to host the first two rounds at Sojka Pavilion.

With two regular-season games remaining -- at Holy Cross on Wednesday and home against Colgate on Saturday -- Bucknell (18-8 overall, 9-3 PL) sits two games behind first-place Holy Cross (20-5, 11-1). The Bison can move up to the No. 1 seed with two wins and two Crusaders losses. (Click here for complete Patriot League standings.)

The Bison will begin tournament play at 8 p.m. on Friday, March 4 and also host another quarterfinal game at 5:30 p.m. Friday. The two teams victorious in their quarterfinal games will meet in the semifinals at 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 6th in Sojka Pavilion. Seedings will be determined after the conclusion of the regular season on Saturday, Feb. 26, 2005.

TICKET SALES BEGIN MONDAY, FEBRUARY 28 starting at 8 a.m. -- Ticket sales will begin at 8 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 28th at the Weis Center Box Office on a first-come, first-served, best-available basis. Fans can also order tickets via phone starting on Monday, February 28th by calling the Campus Box Office at 570-577-1000. All seats will be reserved tickets (no general admission).

Each fan will be limited to purchasing four (4) tickets.

$15 ADULT TOURNAMENT PACKAGES -- Reserved all-session tickets, good for both games on Friday and the semifinal game on Sunday, are available for only $15.

$7 STUDENT/SENIOR CITIZEN TOURNAMENT PACKAGES -- Reserved all-session tickets, good for both games on Friday and the semifinal game on Sunday, are available for only $7.To be eligible for this discounted ticket, Senior Citizen is defined as 62 or older and students must show a valid college ID or be under 18 years of age.

SINGLE-GAME TICKETS -- Single-day reserved tickets may be purchased for $10 (adults) and $5 (students and senior citizens). Full ticket sales will begin Monday, Feb. 28 for all individual game tickets. Sales will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis. Seating locations for fans from each team are assigned by the Patriot League.

ADVANCED TICKET SALES -- Fans wishing to purchase tickets in advance will be allowed to do so only for the Tournament Package, which involves the quarterfinal and semifinal round games. Prices for the men's package are $15 for adults and $7 for students and senior citizens. The Tournament Package includes three games in total at Sojka Pavilion.

To purchase advanced voucher(s) for Tournament Packages prior to Monday, Feb. 28, please call or visit the Bucknell Campus Box Office (570/577-1000). The Campus Box Office is located in the lobby of the Weis Center. The box office is open Monday through Friday, in the Weis Center from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

WOMEN'S TOURNAMENT TICKETS -- The Bucknell women's basketball team will be opening Patriot League Tournament play on the road, at a site to be determined. Women's tournament ticket vouchers may also be purchased at the Campus Box Office.
