NEW YORK (AP) - Bryant Dunston had 14 points and 13 rebounds to help Fordham beat Charlotte 53-51 on Sunday night.
Michael Binns added 10 points for Fordham (10-12, 4-6 Atlantic-10), which held a 28-24 lead at the half. The Rams had lost four of their previous five games.
Lamont Mack scored 20 points for the 49ers (14-10, 5-5), who have lost three of four.
Kevin Anderson's layup with 4:30 left gave Fordham a 48-42 lead. The 49ers then went on a 7-3 run capped by Mack's 3-pointer with 1:37 left to close to 51-49.
Marcus Stout converted two free throws to extend the lead back to four, before Mack's layup with 12 seconds left scored for the final margin.
