OXFORD, Ohio--Miami University's men's basketball game at Kent State University on Tuesday, March 4 will be televised nationally on ESPN2, the Mid-American Conference and ESPN announced. Game time will remain 7 p.m.
On Monday, it was announced that the RedHawks' Feb. 23 O'Reilly ESPNU BracketBuster game would be aired at 6 p.m. on ESPN Classic. With the addition of the Kent State game on ESPN2, the RedHawks will play two of their last four regular-season games on national television on the ESPN Networks.
The March 4 game at Kent State on ESPN2 will be Miami's fifth appearance on one of the ESPN Networks. In addition to its Feb. 23 game at Valparaiso on ESPN Classic, Miami's Nov. 22 game against South Alabama was aired on ESPNU and its games against USC (Nov. 23) and Mississippi State (Nov. 25) were televised on ESPN2 at the Anaheim Classic.
Miami's final five games will be televised. In addition to its ESNP2 and ESPN Classic games, the RedHawks' Feb. 19 game against Akron will be televised on ONN, their March 1 game against Ohio will be shown on the Guardian Television Network in Columbus and their final regular-season game at home on March 9 will be televised on Fox Sports Net Ohio.
The March 4 game will be the 121st meeting between Miami and Kent State with the Red and White holding an 81-39 advantage in the all-time series.
