LAHAINA, Hawaii (AP) -Two-time champion North Carolina and former champion Indiana will compete in the 25th anniversary of the Maui Invitational during Thanksgiving week in 2008.

Alabama, Notre Dame, Oregon, Saint Joseph's, Texas and host Chaminade will also be in the field, tournament officials announced Wednesday.

North Carolina won in 1999 and 2004, and Indiana won in 2002.

Duke, which holds a record three Maui titles, will be joined in this year's event by Arizona State, Illinois, LSU, Marquette, Oklahoma State, Princeton and Chaminade.
