WACO, Texas (AP) - Baylor coach Scott Drew underwent an appendectomy Tuesday but expects to be on the bench when the Bears play No. 8 Kansas, the university said.
The 36-year-old Drew, in his third season with Baylor, was recovering at home Tuesday night. The Bears face No. 8 Kansas on Wednesday night in Waco.
