CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (AP) - Daequan Cook scored 13 points to lead No. 6 Ohio State to a 62-44 victory over Illinois on Saturday.

Jamar Butler had 12 points and Ron Lewis added 10 for the Buckeyes (13-2, 2-0 Big Ten), while 7-foot freshman Greg Oden finished with seven points - all in the second half - and 15 rebounds.

Warren Carter had 11 points and eight rebounds for Illinois (12-5, 0-2), which its lost its second straight.
