Xavier head coach Scott Googins has announced a winter camp to be held on the campus of Xavier University.

CINCINNATI - Xavier head coach Scott Googins has announced that the Xavier baseball team in conjunction with Athletic Values will hold a winter baseball camp on the campus of Xavier University on December 27-28. A pitcher and catcher camp will also be involved on December 29.

Googins, who is in his first year as the head coach at Xavier, has been a collegiate baseball coach for 13 years. He has spent eight years at Indiana University, four years at Miami University and the last two seasons with the Musketeers. His coaching staff along with current and former Xavier players will assist him at the camp.

The camp's objective is to provide campers with an opportunity to improve their baseball knowledge and skills through various drills, practice routines and games. Campers will receive a camp T-shirt, prizes from contests and quality professional baseball instruction.
