NASHUA, N.H. - Brett Palanski, a 2008 Rhode Island graduate and four-year member of the Rhode Island baseball team, has signed with the Nashua Pride of the Canadian-American (Can-Am) League.

Palanski joins the Pride pitching staff after posting a 7-4 record his senior year - with a 4.41 ERA in 83.2 innings pitched - and earning All-Championship Team honors at the 2008 Atlantic 10 Baseball Tournament. For his career, the right-handed pitcher accumulated 16 wins and 155 strikeouts while holding opponents to a .283 batting average.
