CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Less than two weeks after concluding their third straight trip to the College World Series, North Carolina's baseball standouts have scattered to various wooden bat summer leagues up and down the east coast.
Twelve Tar Heels are playing in the Cape Cod League. Nine are spending their summers closer to home in the Coastal Plain League, and assistant coach Matt McCay is the head coach of the Thomasville HiToms. Additionally, Tarron Robinson is a member of the Florida Legends of the Great South League.
