The NC State baseball team is headed back to the NCAA Regionals for the fourth straight year and the seventh time in 10 years under head coach Elliott Avent. After finishing off a run to the ACC title game as a No. 7 seed over the weekend, the Wolfpack (36-21) has been selected to participate in the Austin, Texas Regional as a No. 2 seed. The four team bracket will also feature No. 1 seed and host Texas, No. 3 Stanford and fourth seeded Texas-Arlington.
The Wolfpack will open up against Stanford, which finished with a 30-25 mark this season. The Cardinal finished fifth in the Pac-10 with an 11-13 conference mark.
