Four Buckeyes posted multi-hit games with Wes Schirtzinger going 3-for-6 to lead the way. Jedidiah Stephen belted a two-run homer after coming off the bench.
The Buckeyes did most of their damage in the first inning, plating seven runners on the strength of seven hits and two Cornell errors. The Buckeyes added two insurance runs in both the third and eighth innings to put the game out of reach. Cornell scored single runs in the fourth on a Garrett Wasson sacrifice fly and the sixth after a Ry Kagan RBI single.
