Fresno, Calif. - With important home games looming for not just baseball but women's basketball over the weekend for Fresno State, the athletic department has decided to move the start time of the Saturday, March 4 baseball contest with Portland to 6:35 p.m. to avoid a conflict with women's basketball at the Save Mart Center at 2 p.m., as the Bulldogs host Nevada in the team's final home game.

The schedule change for baseball reflects the time structure for the remainder of the year following the Pepsi/Johnny Quick Classic from March 13-18. Beginning with Sacramento State from March 24-26, all home contests for WAC play are scheduled for 6:35 p.m. starts on Friday and Saturday, followed by a 1:05 p.m. contest on Sunday.

Fresno State will host four WAC teams this year, as Sacramento State, Hawai'i, Nevada and San Jose State all make the trip to Pete Beiden Field for conference series in
