Nov. 22, 2006

BYU senior Josh Rohatinsky is joined by four members of Colorado's national championship team on the Division I Men's All-America Team for the 2006 cross country season.

Rohatinsky, a three-time All-American, won the NCAA Division I men's cross country title Monday in Terre Haute, Ind. Colorado, which won the NCAA men's team title with 94 points, has four All-Americans: Brent Vaughn, Stephen Pifer, Erik Heinonen and James Strang.

Defending NCAA champion Wisconsin, this year's runner-up, placed three runners on the All-America team: Stuart Eagon, Tim Nelson and Matt Withrow.

The NCAA Division I Men's All-America Cross Country Team consists of the top 30 finishers at the NCAA Championships plus an equal number of U.S. athletes displaced by non-U.S. citizens in the top 25. Since 12 foreign-born athletes finished in the top 30 at the NCAA meet, this year's All-America Team consists of 42 athletes.

The All-America teams for Division I, II and III are posted online at www.ustfccca.org.
