Tulsa Men's Cross Country Team Ranked 17th in Final National Poll

Hurricane nationally-ranked for record seventh consecutive week


The University of Tulsa men's cross country team is ranked No. 17 in the last United States Track and Field Cross Country Coaches Association Division I National Poll of the season.

Tulsa, Okla. - The University of Tulsa men's cross country team is ranked No. 17 in the last United States Track and Field Cross Country Coaches Association Division I National Poll of the season. It is highest final ranking in school history and marks the seventh consecutive week the Hurricane have been nationally-ranked, which is also a school record.

The men's team was ranked as high as 15th in the last two USTFCCCA Division I National Polls, which is the highest ranking in program history. Tulsa also completed the season ranked third in the final Midwest Regional Poll.

The Hurricane finishes the season next Monday at the NCAA National Championships in Terre Haute, Ind.
