Men's Swimming and Diving Hosts Cleveland State for Weekend Dual

RedHawks sit at 2-2 on the season with home meets against Cleveland State on Saturday, Nov. 10, before welcoming Ohio State on Friday, Nov. 16.

OXFORD, Ohio - Miami's men's swimming and diving team is back in action at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10 when it hosts Cleveland State at Corwin M. Nixon Aquatic Center. The RedHawks most recently downed Xavier 109-87 at the end of October, improving their record to 2-2. Miami's next three meets are at home against Cleveland State, Ohio State (Nov. 16), and the Miami Invitational (Nov. 29).

Freshman Darin Smith was the first RedHawk of the season to be named MAC Men's Swimmer of the Week, on Oct. 29. Smith won the 400 individual medley and finished second in the 1000 freestyle against Louisville. He also won the 1000 freestyle against inter-state rival Xavier. He won that event by over 21 seconds.

Cleveland State dominated St. Bonaventure winning all 13 events in a dual meet on Friday, Nov. 2. The Vikings sit at 3-0 on the season.
