NC State swimmer Cullen Jones continues to dominate in the pool, winning the prelim heats and semifinal heats with a World Swimming Championship (25m) record swim of 21.31 in the 50-meter freestyle. The time was two-tenths of a second off of the World Record and Jones is the top seed heading into tomorrow's finals heat in Shanghai, China.
Jones won the NCAA Championship in the 50-yard freestyle and set an ACC record with a 19.07 in the 50-yard freestyle, a time that converts to 20.98 seconds in meters, a faster time than the current world record of 20.10.
