CLEVELAND - The Mid-American Conference named sophomore Emily Wylam (Yorktown, Va.) the Swimmer of the Week for her efforts against Denison and Ohio State.

Wylam, who earned conference honors for her performances in the opening weekend as well, won both backstroke events against Big Ten powerhouse Ohio State. She took the 100 backstroke in 58.08 and 200 backstroke in 2:04.76 and led off Ohio's victorious 400 medley relay squad with a MAC-best split of 57.50. Wylam added a third-place finish in the 100 butterfly against Denison.

Wylam led the Bobcats to a split last weekend, earning a 154-85 win over Denison before falling 180-114 to Ohio State.

The Bobcats will be back in action this weekend when they host MAC foe Buffalo Saturday. The dual meet is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
