Penn Women Receive Two All-American Nods

Freshmen Paula Pearson (Calgary, Canada) and Radhika Ahluwalia (Oakville, Ontario) were named second-team All-Americans for the 2003-04 season.

Pearson and Ahluwalia, ranked 12th and 18th respectively, helped lead the Red and Blue to a fifth place finish at the Howe Cup with a consolation finals win over Dartmouth. Penn went 10-5 overall, and 3-3 in the Ivies this season, including a 7-0 start to the year. In the Individuals, Pearson played up to the second round consolation semifinals and Ahluwalia fell one match short of the consolation title.

Pearson was also named to the All-Ivy team. She will head to Canada next Wednesday to play in the Canadian Junior National Squash Championships in her hometown of Calgary.

The Penn Women's Squash Program will name the 2003-04 award winners on Monday, April 19.
