Princeton, N.J. - Penn squash freshmen Paula Pearson (Calgary, Canada) and Gilly Lane (Wyndmoor, Pa.) were named to the All-Ivy League squash teams following the 2003-04 season.
Pearson advanced to the Collegiate Squash Association round of 16 and helped her team finish fifth at the Howe Cup. Lane played No. 1 for the men's squash team as the Quakers upset No. 6 Cornell at the Intercollegiate Squash Team Championships to finish the tournament in seventh place. Penn was ranked eighth going into the championship.
Lane was one of three freshmen to earn All-Ivy League honors on the men's side, while Pearson was one of five rookies on the women's list.
The Penn men's team finished the season with an overall record of 9-9 and a 1-5 mark in the Ivy League. The Penn women's team went 10-5 overall and recorded a 3-3 mark in Ivy contests.
