Taloumis and Hawkins Shine For Minutewomen

Minutewomen get ready for ECSC Championships


Minutemen look forward to EISA Championships

Brownsville, VT- Eliza Hawkins finished eighth (1:40.43) and Jamie Taloumis finished 13th (1:41.79) to lead the Minutewomen in the Slalom at the Boston College Carnival. Sophomore Heidi Skinner finished 22nd with a time of 1:43.11 along with fellow sophomore Lauren Levey placing 27th at 1:45.36. The women placed fourth in the Slalom and continue to hold onto third in the ECSC Conference.

Taloumis and Hawkins again shined at the BC Carnival, which during the second day, featured the Giant Slalom. Taloumis took fifth place with a time of 1:40.61 and Hawkins placed eighth clocking in at 1:41.53. Rounding out the top four finishers for the Minutewomen included Lauren Levey (27th, 1:46.24) and Abby Nolan (36th, 1:51.31).

The Minutewomen enjoy a weekend off to recharge before the heading out to Middlebury Vermont for the EISA Conference Championships on Friday, February 22nd. On February 23rd and 24th, the women head to Watervillle Valley, N.H. to compete in the ECSC Regional Championship.
