Henley on Thames, UK--The Cardinal Men were defeated at the Henley Royal Regatta by the Irish National Team Lightweights (racing as the Tara Boat Club). Racing was intense with the Cardinal leading at two crucial points: (the Barrier and Fawley). The final margin of victory was 3 feet over the race distance of 2,112 meters.
