No. 11 USC Women of Troy

The No. 11 Women of Troy varsity eight boat will begin competition at the Division I NCAA Championships on Friday, May 30, 2008 at Lake Natoma in Sacramento, Calif. USC will be in the first heat of div. I varsity eight and will row at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, May 30.
The rowing order will be as follows: Lane 1: Yale, Lane 2: Michigan State, Lane 3: USC, Lane 4: Harvard, Lane 5: Wisconsin, Lane 6: Ohio State
Those crews who finish first through third they will move on to the semi-finals which will take place at 8:00 a.m. and 8:15 a.m. on Saturday, May 31, 2008.
The boats that finish in positions four through six will repechage at 1:00 p.m. on Friday May 30.
The grand finals, for those boats who finish one through six out of the total field of 16, will take place at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 1, 2008. The petite finals, for those crews who finish in places seven through twelve will occur at 11:15 a.m. on June 1 and at 11:00 a.m. those who finished in places thirteen through sixteen will race.

The Women of Troy have been plagued by injury throughout the season and have therefore had many different lineups. This weekend, USC will again show a different lineup because they will be without senior Dunja Pejcic, who had to go home for family reasons.
